LADY OLIVIA'S
BRAMPTON PARK REVUE
BRAMPTON PARK REVUE
Domestic Bliss
Under the rays of the setting sun
A pesky housefly spins round the room
You can't just enjoy the gloom
That's because the housefly is zooming in
Dive-bombing you
And oooh! That buzzing din
As the housefly whirls and twirls in flight
Looking for food on which to alight
And enjoy his meal
Sugar and strong smells are all very well
And lovely for that passing fly
To enjoy
But to you the insect will only annoy
The perfect not-so-clean nuisance
To land on a freshly cleaned counter top
To buzz and whirl over the mop
And bucket of dirty water
Or hover in your face
Ugh! Flies! What a disgrace!
